2025 IHLRN Conference
August 17 - 22, 2025

"Connection, Community and Cosmos
Satir in the World Today"

At the Zephyr Retreat Center
Lake Tahoe, Nevada
ZephyrPtShoreAerial

SAVE THE DATE AUGUST 17-22 2025

We are very excited to be back! This year promises to be better than ever, so save the date to join us for the special lived experience of Virginia Satir, her work and her gifts.

We are changing things up a bit to make the conference more affordable and accessible: 5 days instead of 7 (no day off in the middle), staying at a lovely retreat center rather than hotel, and having the conference in the summer. The all-inclusive price for a double will be about $930 pp, $835 pp in a triple, and $1305 in a single. We open with a reception Sunday evening, 4 conference days Monday thru Thursday, with a closing dinner, and then breakfast Friday and travel.

The beautiful Zephyr Conference Center is right on Lake Tahoe with its own private beach and only a 45 minute airport shuttle ride from Reno. While you won’t be able to extend your stay at the retreat center, Lake Tahoe is a wonderful destination for family vacations.

Registration will open this December (2024)…..stay tuned and check out their wonderful site.   https://zephyrpoint.org

International Human Learning Resources Network (IHLRN) is an organization founded in 1969 by Virginia Satir, a pioneer in the field of family therapy. She wanted to bring together colleagues from around the world who were interested in exploring humanistic approaches. This network evolved into a unique community in which people could share their expertise, learn from each other, try out new ideas and be together in a group that was welcoming, and embraced the uniqueness of each individual. These week long conferences have been held for over 50 years.
